Test Familiarity

Many students have little experience with the SAT apart from the PSAT. When students see the SAT for the first time, their lack of familiarity works against them. We have students become familiar with the test, so there are no surprises on test day. As part of our course, students learn the test’s format and content. More importantly, students get a feel for the test and learn how to approach it by working through the 10 College Board practice tests, as well as numerous practice tests from other leading publishers.

Subject Knowledge

Many times, students can answer a question correctly, but they don’t really know why it’s correct. Other times, students don’t even know how to begin answering a question. We want students to understand the specific content tested on the SAT, allowing them to recognize correct and incorrect answers. We do this by reviewing key content areas and showing students how these subjects will be tested. We also help students identify certain question types, so they know which area of subject knowledge to apply.
